Woolwich, ON – At the Council meeting on March 21st, 2023, Woolwich Council directed staff to proceed with the plans to develop the property at 28 South Street with Menno Homes, now known as Beyond Housing.

With Woolwich Council proving the opportunity to vote via internet or telephone voting methods, Woolwich voters have joined hundreds of other Ontario municipalities casting their ballots electronically in the 2022 Municipal Election. More voters have already cast their ballot before voting day using internet and telephone voting in the 2022 Municipal Election for the Township of Woolwich.
Sadly, the Townships of Wellesley and Woolwich learned that Mark Fraser, the WRDSB Trustee candidate for Wellesley/Woolwich passed away suddenly. We offer our sincerest condolences to Mr. Fraser’s family and friends.
Woolwich, ON – Woolwich Township’s Climate Action Initiative will be launching a “Talk to an Owner” event series where interested parties can gain first-hand knowledge from electric car, electric bike, and cargo bike owners. The first event in the series will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Canadian Tire in Elmira (325 Arthur Street South).

Upon reflection I apologize and regret not stopping the comments from Councillor Martin pertaining to the rainbow crosswalk. Woolwich prides itself on being a forward-thinking inclusive Township who invites and welcomes residents including those from the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
