Water Main Leak Detection

The Township of Woolwich has contracted Hetek Solutions Inc. to proactively engage in leak detection of the water metallic mains in Breslau, Elmira, and St. Jacobs. Finding water main breaks and quickly repairing them can save the Township thousands of dollars in wasted drinking water.

The leak detection will take place Sept. 1 to 10, 2024. If the weather does not permit the leak detection, it will be rescheduled shortly afterwards.

This work is conducted in the evenings, from 10pm to 5am (Sunday to Thursday). These times are the least disruptive and quietest.  It will not occur on Friday and Saturday nights.

Leak detection is above ground and does not affect water service at all. Please be aware of Hetek Solution’s staff and vehicles during this time. The vehicles will have the Hetek logo on them. Thank you for your patience. If you have any questions, please call Public Works 519-669-6043.
