Rural Townships Monitoring the Dry Conditions Locally

Waterloo Region – With the weather expected to remain dry and hot in the coming days, the Townships of North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich will continue to monitor the dry conditions to determine if a Burn Ban is deemed necessary.

Until such time that a Burn Ban is deemed necessary, we ask that all reasonable precautions be taken to prevent fire spread to keep our townships safe.

Remember to always call 9-1-1 to report a fire.
