The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) provides overall leadership and direction for the Township of Woolwich. Our staff team is made up of seven departments who work together to bring you the services you count on every day.

All the departments work to ensure professional, timely and citizen-centered services to the residents of Woolwich.

A key objective outlined in our Strategic Plan is providing exceptional customer service to our visitors, businesses, and residents. This priority is re-enforced by our Mission Statement.

We intend to deliver on this goal by successfully implementing our Corporate Customer Service Standards and Expectations

The Corporate Services (COR) Department provides support to residents, visitors, Council, and staff. There are four main areas of responsibility within the Corporate Services Department:

Clerk's Division

Clerk's Division staff keep the public and staff informed of Council decisions, direction, and strategy. Clerk's Division staff are responsible for the legislative requirements regarding:

Enforcement Services

Enforcement Services staff oversee the enforcement and interpretation of a number of Township By-laws relating to animal controlparking enforcement, noise, signs, and property standards.

Information Technology (IT)

Information Technology (IT) Services staff oversee the Township's information systems and networks to ensure an accurate, reliable, and secure ability to communicate with internal staff, as well as external customers and residents effectively.

Human Resources (HR)

Human Resources staff support other departments to plan, coordinate, and direct the staffing and administrative functions of the Township. HR staff advertise jobs and volunteer opportunities on the Careers and Volunteering page.

  • Processing transactions and Accounts Payable
  • Administering the financial database
