PickupHub allows you to view upcoming drop-in games and to reserve your spot in advance. Currently Woolwich Memorial Centre Shinny & Pickleball programs are live on the site.
All of the uncertainty associated with traditional drop-in programming is removed because you can see how many players are needed for the game to run, and who has already signed up.

How is PickupHub different from drop-in?
With PickupHub, you reserve your spot ONLINE ahead of the game time. If the requisite numbers of players sign up, the game will go.
Do I have to commit to a certain number of games to sign up?
No! The great thing about PickupHub is that it is a pay-as-you-play system. It is up to you what games you play.
How do I reserve my spot for a game?
In order to reserve your spot, you need to create an account on Woolwich Pickuphub then select the game you want to participate in. Simply click on a player spot and enter your credit card information. Once you have completed this process, you will receive an email confirming your reservation.
How do I pay for my games on PickupHub?
PickupHub uses a secure online payment system. We accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, and Visa debit. Cash and debit are not accepted.
Do I have to reserve my spot online? Can I pay in person or over the phone with customer service?
PickupHub is an exclusively online platform so you must make an account and pay online. You cannot pay in person or over the phone. We encourage you to reserve your spot online well before the game is set to begin, since games often fill up! PickupHub allows you to see how many people have already signed up for any given game, thus giving you an idea of how many people to expect.
What happens if the minimum number of players is not reached?
Your game will be cancelled if the minimum number of players is not reached 60 - 90 minutes before the start time. You will receive an email and/or text message from PickupHub notifying you of the cancellation, and your credit card will NOT be charged.
Will my credit card be charged if the game is cancelled?
No, your credit card will only be charged if the game goes live. Depending on your credit card company, the charge may show up on your statement as pending even if the game is cancelled. Don't worry, it is just a delay on the credit card company's end and you will NOT be charged.
Will I be charged if I withdraw from a game?
You will not be charged if you withdraw from a game MORE than 12 hours in advance. If you withdraw with LESS than 12 hours’ notice, you WILL BE charged the cost of the game, regardless of whether or not that game runs.
What do I do when I get to the facility?
Please make sure you visit customer service when you arrive at the Woolwich Memorial Centre in order to receive a wristband. Your wristband is your confirmation of payment for the game, so make sure you WEAR your wristband during the game so that staff can see that you have paid.
What do I do if the game is full?
PickupHub has an option for participants to put themselves on a waiting list if the game is full. If someone who registered is no longer able to come to the game, the waitlisted players will be notified by email, and admittance to the game will be on a first come first serve basis. Depending on the size of the waiting list, as well as facility space, an additional game may be created. If this occurs, admin will notify waitlisted players that the new game is available.
What does the number next to players’ names mean?
After a game, players can give each other a rating between 0 and 10. The number you see next to any given player's name is the average of those ratings. The rating is based on a number of factors including skill and sportsmanship. These numbers are not an exact science, and should not be used purely as a gauge of skill.
How far in advance are PickupHub games scheduled?
It depends! Games are scheduled anywhere between four months in advance to a few hours before game time! We work towards providing a regular schedule of games; however, sometimes facility space opens up last minute, and if there is enough interest, we can run games on the fly.
Why is there no charge for goalies in shinny?
Our goal is to offer a fun experience for all players, and goalies are an essential part of that! We want goalies to feel rewarded for choosing to have a 6oz disk of rubber flying at them in their free time. They also already have a higher cost associated with their position due to the additional equipment. To us, this is worth a free game as it also helps up keep up goalie attendance, which in turn improves the quality of the game for everyone!
