Supplementary tax bills are issued when you make an addition or improvement to your property. Most common examples are newly built structures that were not previously assessed.
The Township is not provided with the specific details regarding your supplemental assessment. Please contact Municipal Property Assessment Corporation to discuss your supplemental assessment.
Supplemental tax bills are in addition to any other tax bill you received. You must pay your supplemental tax bill, and any other tax bill, in full as indicated by the due date to avoid penalty.
If you are enrolled in a pre-authorized payment plan, you must make arrangements to pay your supplemental tax bill yourself. Supplemental tax bills will not be automatically withdrawn from your bank account.
If your mortgage company pays your taxes, they will receive this bill as well. It is recommended you contact your mortgage company to make sure they will be paying on your behalf.
